Is your Philippine Passport expiring anytime soon? Are you ready with the requirements but have no time to go to Canberra or Sydney? Worry no more. The Philippine (PH) Government got you covered.
Governed by the Philippine Passport Act of 1996, passport renewal is necessary for OFWs and globetrotting travelers alike. But with the requirement of personal appearance for passport applicants (which makes sense by the way), not everyone can comply.
With this predicament, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) devised a way to reach our Kababayans outside the vicinity of Canberra and Sydney.
Dubbed as the Mobile Passport Mission 2017, this aims to station a satellite passport renewal office in a specific distant place for a limited amount of time. Now, you have an option to renew your passport without traveling a great distance.
For this coming September 2017, the LAST Mobile Passport Mission for 2017 would be in the Brisbane Philippine Consulate.
The Mobile Passport Mission is estimated to run around the last week of September (around September 26 – September 30).
The consulate is accepting bookings as early as now. But then, it is important to note that bookings are made at the CANBERRA EMBASSY, not the Brisbane Consulate.
It is best to contact these numbers to book a schedule.

As to the exact place, the Brisbane Philippine Consulate office is under construction right now. The consulate will announce the full address once the appointment is confirmed (more or less by August 2017).
It is best to just schedule your appointment and check the Brisbane Consulate’swebsite for updates thereafter.
