are an adult (18 years or older)

Access to the AMEP is extended to some temporary visa holders as specified in the legislative instrument for ‘English Courses for Holders of Certain Temporary Visas’.You should register for classes within six months of the date your visa commences and start classes within one year. You will have five years to complete classes. These timeframes may be extended in particular circumstances.Eligible migrants may be referred to the AMEP by their sponsor and settlement provider. Clients may also hear about the program and contact enrolment centers themselves.Learning English is very useful in our everyday lives, wherever we may be.
