Filipinos in Australia are often stuck in cooking Filipino dish with incomplete ingredients. More often than not, we make do with different ingredients substitute just to satify our cravings for Filipino local dishes.
Pigar Pigar is one local filipino dish you can cook with complete ingredients you can easily find at any major Australian supermarket. Pigar Pigar is a famous street food in Dagupan, Pangasinan.
Pigar Pigar , like any Filipino Food is served and eaten with rice!

HOW TO COOK PIGAR PIGAR (FILIPINO DISH)
Ingredients (Available at Coles , Woolworths or IGA near you )500g beef, sliced thinly 150g beef liver, sliced thinly 1 large onions, sliced 4 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper Half head of cabbage (chopped) oil
1. Marinate beef slices and liver for at least an hour in soy sauce, salt and black pepper in deep bowl.
2. Heat up the oil , then add the beef slices and liver slices. Deep fry both beef and liver slices.
3. Once beef and liver slices are crispy (the sides will burn first) remove beef quickly then add unto the mix of sliced onions and cabbage.
4. Quickly wok all ingredients together until cabbage and onion is slightly cooked.
5. Serve hot with rice.
6. Eat and enjoy !
